I’m a first year PhD student studying Linguistics at the University of Maryland, College Park. Broadly speaking, I research the human capacity for language. My background is in experimental psycholinguistics (“What is the relationship between language and the mind?”) and the acquisition of syntax and semantics (“What do children innately know about grammar, meaning, and the relationship between the two?”) Beyond this, I’m also interested in phonology, neurolinguistics, and morphology.
